Sheri Malone, originally from Georgia, is the daughter of a Baptist minister. She grew up in Seabrook, Texas, has been married for nearly 42 years to her high school sweetheart, is the mother of two daughters and has two little grandsons. Her father passed away from cancer. Her mother, like Sheri, is a breast cancer survivor.
She has had her real estate license since 1991. Having previously worked as an agent and in management at Zarr & Company, Heritage Texas Properties, John Daugherty Realtors (where she knew Nancy Owens) and Martha Turner Properties, she is now Keller Williams Metropolitan’s productivity coach. All of these endeavors have given her an opportunity to help people on a personal as well as business level, which she feels is her greatest purpose in life.
Sheri was diagnosed with breast cancer in August 2007. After multiple surgeries and chemotherapy, she is now a seven-year cancer survivor.
Sheri has participated in the Race for the Cure and supported the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
Other than the 2007 luncheon, when she was going through her treatments, Sheri has attended all of the Nancy Owens Memorial Foundation luncheons since 2002, and is an enthusiastic supporter of the wonderful work that is done by the Foundation.
Over the years Sheri has been able to encourage many people who have been diagnosed with breast cancer and offer information and hope by sharing her experience.
