Organized to fund local qualified research projects that support finding a cure for breast cancer.

The Nancy Owens Breast Cancer Foundation operates with the purpose of supporting one or more qualified public charities dedicated to education, care, and research for finding a cure for breast cancer. This mission also serves to honor the life of Nancy Owens, her cherished values, and the remarkable courage she displayed during her battle with breast cancer.
Annually, NOBCF organizes fundraising initiatives and presents the Spirit of Courage Award to commend outstanding bravery in the face of adversity resulting from a cancer diagnosis.
Proceeds from previous events have been directed to esteemed institutions such as the Lester and Sue Smith Breast Center at Baylor College of Medicine, the Department of Nanotechnology at Methodist, and M.D. Anderson.
