FASHION, PINK, SHOPPING…Tootsies was the place to be as the Nancy Owens Breast Cancer Foundation (NOBCF) hosted Fashion for the Cure. The event was hugely successful, enabling the Foundation to impact the community with energy, enthusiasm and raise awareness about breast cancer.

NOBCF is celebrating 21 years of raising funds donated to breast cancer research!

Fady Armanious, Tootsies Creative Director gave an inspiring fashion presentation that was enjoyed by all. Terri Guerra, chairperson of NOBCF welcomed everyone and introduced a special guest, Devon Still and his lovely family, Devon is a former NLF defensive end, author, Resiliency Expert and Positive Psychology Practitioner, he will be the featured speaker at the NOBCF luncheon on October 24 at the Hilton Americas.

NOBCF was created in memory of Nancy Owens, a much loved and well-respected icon in the Houston real estate industry. Owens lost her courageous 20-year battle with breast cancer in September 2001. NOBCF’s planning committee is made up of community members whose lives have all been touched by breast cancer, their tireless efforts and dedication have contributed to the success of the Foundation.
